Jim Work
I have over 30 years experience in home renovation and remodeling. Though budget restraints can often be a factor, I thoroughly enjoy working with my hands and implementing superb craftsmanship. As God has transformed my life, I love to transform worn and or dated things and make them new again.
My standard is quality and excellence. I work alongside many professional craftsman. We all share a similar belief, “As close to perfect as possible, is close enough.” That same approach is what I bring to every client’s home. I’m not happy until you are satisfied with the results.
Candy Work
Even though I am blessed with six boys, I still embrace all things pretty and updated. Over the years, I’ve learned to maintain that ideal and have done it with frugality.
We “live” in our homes, so surfaces like countertops, vanities and showers can become worn and lose their once new feel and look over time.
This is when you call us, we’ll visit with you, get a sense of your lifestyle and unique tastes, inspect the surfaces you’re looking to renew and together, we’ll make some choices to transform your existing surfaces with a fresh new look.

We often notice things in our homes we would like to change or improve but for money or time constraints just sorta put them off. Renew Resurfacing offers you the ability to make those changes or improvements while not breaking the bank or long downtimes without the use of your kitchen and bathrooms. We take great pride in delivering the highest quality products, installations and services available. We treat your countertops, vanities and fiberglass showers as if they were our own.
About Us
Renew Resurfacing is a small family owned business operated by Jim and Candy Work in Omaha, NE. We have branches in Des Moines, IA and San Antonio, TX. Jim and Candy’s 4th son, Keegan, has joined the business, after serving 7 years in the US Navy, and operates the branch in San Antonio. Jim and Candy have been married for 35 years. They’ve also been blessed with six boys… yes, I said six boys, and 5 grandchildren! So, they appreciate good value and savings whenever possible.
